This Hays County home incorporates a host of innovative Green features. Constructed from Rastra, an "insulated concrete form", the residence features a rainwater collection system, open-cell foam insulation in the attic spaces, lo-e fenestration and bamboo flooring. The floors are stained and scored concrete and interior trim is made from reclaimed longleaf pine. Extensive roofed porches shade most of the exterior windows.
